Man Killed in San Bernardino Pedestrian Accident on 15 Freeway near Glen Helen Parkway
San Bernardino, California (April 2, 2020) – A man died after being struck by several vehicles Sunday night in San Bernardino, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The accident, which was reported shortly before 9:00 p.m. Sunday, March 30, happened on the 15 Freeway, just south of Glen Helen Parkway.
The CHP said the man was running in the westbound lanes of the 15 Freeway when, for unknown reasons, he was struck by three vehicles.
The man was killed in the accident. His name has not been disclosed pending notification of family.
The first driver did not stop to render aid to the victim and fled the scene. The other two motorists stayed at the scene and cooperated with the authorities.
There was no description given about the hit-and-run driver and vehicle. Anyone with information on the suspect’s whereabouts is urged to call the San Bernardino CHP Area office at 909-383-4247.
