CHP Investigating Minor Injury Santa Ysabel Car Accident at Highway 79 and Mesa Grande Road
Santa Ysabel, California (April 5, 2020) – One person sustained minor injuries after a white Toyota sedan and a white Mitsubishi SUV collided at the intersection of Highway 79 and Mesa Grande Road in Santa Ysabel at around 12:45 p.m. on April 1.
The California Highway Patrol did not immediately disclose the circumstances that lead to the Wednesday afternoon crash.
One of the involved vehicles was abandoned after the crash while the Toyota went into a ditch upon the impact.
Medical personnel, along with fire department officials, responded to the scene shortly after 12:45 p.m. and rendered aid to the injured victim.
Meanwhile, the name and the current condition of the patient have not yet been released to this time.
More details regarding the accident will be released immediately after the completion of the investigation.
