Vehicle Struck and Killed Bicyclist on Orangethorpe Avenue in Fullerton
Fullerton, California (April 22, 2020) – Authorities are investigating the circumstances that lead to a fatal bicycle accident in Fullerton at approximately 2:53 p.m. April 21.
As per the report, an unidentified bicyclist died in a collision with a vehicle in the 1900 block of Orangethorpe Avenue, near Acacia Avenue Tuesday afternoon.
The operator of the involved automobile remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation.
A section of Orangethorpe Avenue from Brookhurst Road to Gilbert Street was shut down for an unknown time.
Detectives did not believe drugs or alcohol played a role in the wreck. Anyone who witnessed the accident is urged to call Fullerton Police Department Collision Investigator Chad Keen at 714-738-6812.
