Toddler Hospitalized after Fallbrook Bicycle Accident on S. Mission Road near Almond Street
Fallbrook, California (April 19, 2020) – A child sustained injuries Saturday afternoon following a traffic accident involving a bicycle and a car in Fallbrook, authorities said.
The wreck happened in the 1500 block of S. Mission Road near Almond Street at around 2:30 p.m. Saturday, April 18.
According to the authorities, a bicycle and a vehicle collided for unknown reasons on the roadway.
A toddler, who was sitting in the front-mounted bicycle seat, sustained an arm injury as a result of the accident. The child was taken to Palomar Hospital for treatment.
Further details about the crash were not immediately provided.
The accident remains under investigation.
