CHP Investigating Fatal Stratford Car Accident at Avenal Cutoff Road and 30th Avenue
Stratford, California (April 18, 2020) – A female party operating a Chevrolet Sonic died in a collision with a Chevrolet Silverado at the intersection of Avenal Cutoff Road and 30th Avenue in Stratford at about 11:55 p.m. April 17.
The Silverado reportedly drifted into the opposite lane and crashed head-on with the Sonic on Friday night, the California Highway Patrol reported.
Meanwhile, the pickup truck operator sustained moderate injuries following the mishap. The unidentified victim was transported to Kaweah Delta Medical Center in Visalia for medication.
Alcohol and drugs were suspected of having played a role in the collision.
