Chalacan Flores Dies after Riverside Pedestrian Crash on 60 Freeway near Market Street
Riverside, California (April 6, 2020) - Chalacan Flores, 25, of Redlands, has been identified as the man who was killed in an auto-pedestrian crash on Sunday night in Riverside, according to authorities.
The fatal crash occurred shortly before 10:00 p.m., on April 5, in the westbound side of Pomona (60) Freeway near Market Street.
The police said Flores was, for unknown reasons, struck by a vehicle on the roadway.
Flores was pronounced dead at the scene.
A truck and sedan reportedly stopped on the right-hand shoulder of the freeway. Their role in the crash was not immediately known.
The crash remains under investigation.
