51-Year-Old Frankie Sanchez Fatal Modesto Hit-And-Run Bicycle Crash on Marshall Road near Tulip Avenue
Modesto, California (April 10, 2020) – The California Highway Patrol have released the name of the Patterson man who died following a bicycle collision that happened on Marshall Road, near Tulip Avenue in Modesto at around 7 a.m. April 1.
As per the report, 51-year-old Frankie Sanchez was hit by a 2003 Chevrolet Silverado while riding his bicycle westbound on Marshall Road Wednesday morning.
The Silverado driver, who was identified as 20-year-old Jesus Antonio Flores, did not stop to render aid and fled the scene.
Sadly, Sanchez was declared dead at the crash site.
Flores was later arrested and booked at the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center on suspicion of vehicular manslaughter and felony hit and run, officials reported.
