Authorities ID’d Marcelino Escober as Victim Killed in Alhambra Pedestrian Crash on Garfield Avenue
Alhambra, California (April 27, 2020) – Authorities have released the name of the Alhambra man who was struck and killed by a vehicle on Garfield Avenue, near Shorb Street in Alhambra at approximately 7:50 a.m. April 25.
According to the Alhambra Police Department, 40-year-old Marcelino Alfredo Escober was hit by a vehicle after he stepped off the east Garfield Avenue curb without yielding to oncoming traffic Saturday morning.
The operator of the involved vehicle stopped after the wreck and cooperated with the investigation.
No additional information about the accident was provided.
The fatal accident remains under investigation.
