San Francisco, California (October 15, 2019) – Authorities are investigating a hit-and-run motorcycle crash that happened on Monday evening in San Francisco.

The collision occurred on southbound Highway 101 near the San Francisco International Airport, a while after 5:11 p.m. Monday, October 14.

According to the California Highway Patrol, a man in a motorbike collided with a white Toyota sedan for reasons yet to be determined.

Emergency crews along with medical personnel arrived at the scene and attended to at least one person who sustained injuries of an unknown degree in the crash. The name of the patient and their current condition were not immediately released.

Officials said the driver involved fled the crash site after the collision.

The investigators are handling this crash as a hit-and-run crash.
