1 Dies Following Fatal Los Angeles Car Accident at Highway 91 and Alameda Street
Los Angeles, California (October 1, 2019) – A person was killed in a two-vehicle crash in the area of Highway 91 and Alameda Street on-ramp in South Los Angeles Monday, the California Highway Patrol said in a report.
The fatal accident took place shortly before noon Monday, September 30 at the intersection of Highway 91 and Alameda Street on-ramp.
According to the CHP, two vehicles collided on the eastbound lanes of the highway for reasons still under investigation. One of the vehicles involved, a red sedan, slammed into the center divider and came to a stop facing the wrong-way after the accident.
One person whose name has not been disclosed pending family notification was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.
No other details were immediately provided regarding the crash.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
