Ramses Gonzalez Arrested after Hesperia Car Accident at Mariposa Road and Main Street
Hesperia, California (November 1, 2019) – Ramses Gonzalez was arrested following a car accident that occurred Killed one person in Hesperia on Saturday, October 12.
According to the authorities, the accident crash was reported in the area of Mariposa Road and Main Street.
Ramses Gonzales, 26, of Rialto, was driving a 2002 BMW 3 series westbound on Main Street approaching the intersection when he ran a red light and T-boned a 1994 Honda Accord driven by Marcelino Cabrera III, 46, of Hesperia, who was heading northbound on Mariposa Road. The impact pushed the BMW into a large palm tree at a business parking lot.
Cabrera died in the crash.
Gonzales suffered severe injuries and was airlifted to Loma Linda University Medical Center for treatment.
Authorities later arrested Gonzales at his home on October 17.
He was charged with gross vehicular manslaughter, DUI causing death, and driving on a suspended or revoked license.
The accident is under investigation.
