44-Year-Old Man Injured in San Francisco Pedestrian Accident at Embarcadero and Battery Streets Friday Morning

San Francisco, California (November 13, 2019) – A pedestrian was injured after being struck by a bicyclist in San Francisco Friday morning, according to police.

The pedestrian accident happened at around 8:13 a.m. Friday, November 8 at the intersection of Embarcadero and Battery streets.

Authorities said the pedestrian, only identified as a 44-year-old man, was attempting to cross the street when for an unknown reason, a 40-year-old man riding a bicycle through the intersection hit him.

The pedestrian sustained non-life threatening injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.

The accident remains under investigation.
