Austin Stache Identified as One of Two UPS Employees Killed in Workplace Accident at Ontario International Airport

Ontario, California (November 27, 2019) – Authorities have identified one of the two UPS workers who were killed Monday morning in an accident at the package-delivery service hub at Ontario International Airport in Ontario as Austin Stache, 20, of Rancho Cucamonga.

The tragic incident happened shortly before 6:00 a.m. Monday, November 25 at the Ontario International Airport.

According to the police, Stache and Noe Tinoco Jr., 22, of San Bernardino, were driving and riding a tug that pulls dollies that are loaded with containers to be loaded onto airplanes when the tug turned over and crushed them.

Stache and Tinoco died in the accident.

A GoFundMe page has been created to benefit Tinoco’s family.

The Cal/OSHA is investigating the accident.
