Man Killed in Beaumont Car Accident at Cherry Valley Boulevard and Union Street ID’d as Alessandro Moro
Beaumont, California (November 3, 2019) – Alessandro Moro, 20, of Beaumont, has been identified as the man who died in a traffic accident that happened Friday morning in Beaumont, according to the Riverside County Coroner’s Bureau.
The deadly wreck took place at about 7:25 a.m. Friday, November 1 at the intersection of Cherry Valley Boulevard and Union Street, approximately a mile west of Beaumont High School.
According to a report by the California Highway Patrol, a black Mazda Miata, driven by Moro, was hit by a Range Rover at the intersection. The force of the impact sent the Miata out of control and was then t-boned by a Hyundai Santa Fe.
Moro died at the scene at 7:43 a.m. The people in the other vehicles were not injured.
Authorities closed the intersection of Cherry Valley Boulevard and Union Street for several hours while they investigated the crash.
The California Highway Patrol is investigating the cause of the accident.
