Injuries Reported in Shandon Vehicle Accident on Highway 46 near Center Street
Shandon, California (December 23, 2019) - Major injuries were reported in an accident involving two vehicles on Sunday morning in Shandon, according to Caltrans officers.
The collision occurred at around 6:15 a.m. December 22, on Highway 46, just east of Center Street.
The California Highway Patrol said two vehicles were involved in the crash for reasons still under investigation.
Major injuries were reported in the accident.
The number of the victims injured were not released immediately.
The westbound lanes of Highway 46 were closed due to the crash, but they were later opened.
The collision is still under investigation.
