Brayden Frazier Identified as One of Three People Killed in Head-On Crash on State Route 99E near 62nd Avenue in Dairyville
Dairyville, California (December 25, 2019) – Brayden Lee Frazier, 18, of Chico, has been identified as one of the three people who were killed Saturday afternoon in a head-on crash in Dairyville.
The fatal accident happened around noon Saturday, December 21 on State Route 99E near 62nd Avenue.
The California Highway Patrol said Frazier was driving a 2013 Honda Insight on State Route 99E when for an undetermined reason, the Honda drifted into the southbound lane, where it collided head-on with a Freightliner truck operated by Gurinder Singh Sekhon, 28, of Live Oak.
Frazier and his girlfriend, Eva Mirrin Davies, 27, of Lewiston, sustained major injuries and were taken to Enloe Medical Center in Chico. Fraizer succumbed to his injuries Monday.
Davies is the mother of the two children, a boy, 7, and a girl, 8, who were pronounced deceased at the scene. It remains unknown whether the children were properly restrained in the Honda.
Sekhon was uninjured in the crash.
It is undetermined if alcohol or drugs were factors in the crash. Authorities said the names of the children will not be disclosed.
