7 Injured After Multiple Vehicles Crashed at San Jacinto and Commonwealth Avenues in San Jacinto

San Jacinto, California (December 23, 2019) – According to the California Fire – Riverside County Department, five people were hospitalized after being involved in a traffic collision on Sunday afternoon in San Jacinto.

The accident happened at the intersection of South San Jacinto and Commonwealth Avenues in front of the Walmart Supercenter at about1:12 p.m. December 22.

Authorities said multiple vehicles crashed at the intersection for undisclosed reasons.

A total of seven victims sustained injuries following the wreck. They were all attended to by medical personnel.

Four of the seven victims sustained minor wounds while another one suffered moderate injuries

The five patients were taken to local hospitals for further medication.

Meanwhile, the names of the injured parties were not revealed by officials.

The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
