Sacramento County, California (December 22, 2019) - A 30-year-old man was killed in a pedestrian crash on Sunday evening in Sacramento County, according to CHP.
The deadly crash was reported at around 6:20 p.m. December 22, on Highway 99 north of Mack Road.

Authorities said the pedestrian was attempting to cross the highway when a vehicle hit him.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.

The driver involved stopped and cooperated with the investigators.

Police officers are still investigating the cause of the crash.
